I’m not exactly sure what attracted me initially, I just thought it was interesting and fun to read about street photography techniques. I’m a big fan of photography, and whatever that deal with the art of seeing things that others can not. It’s one of the things that I could be completely proud of, and in the same time, may also be frustrating occasionally.
What I learned from Total Guide to Street Photography was that you have to have some basic skills in order to take good images. I didn’t actually learn much about light configurations or film speed, but I did find out that the flash has to be on. If it is not, your images will probably be flat and boring. I really don’t suggest this book if you’re looking for information on photography.
If you know how to use the features which you have, you are going to be able to take much better pictures. I think that using a fully charged camera is important, but it is probably more important that you take great pictures. If you’re impatient, you’ll take bad shots. If you’re not able to wait around for that to happen, however, you might miss an excellent shot.
One more thing this book taught me was that BacktoBasics 7 Street Photography Tips I should not be fearful of changing settings on my camera. I really like to shoot pictures of natural landscapes, and I have gotten better at it, but I’d had difficulty taking photos of buildings. At first, that was my biggest problem.
If you are still having problems with photography, I highly recommend this book. It may seem somewhat complicated at first, especially if you’re not as utilized to digital photography, but it’s worth taking the time to read through it. There are loads of great books out there that make a point to describe things in as simple a way as possible, so don’t be scared to pick up a guide like this one. Even if you never use all of its hints, you may discover that it may help you enhance some of your techniques.
Overall, this is a very fantastic read that will assist anybody who would like to find out more about photography. The book is very brief, with more than 80 pages of content. There’s no filler or unnecessary information. It is an excellent resource that can function as a road map for anyone who is just starting out or trying to brush up on their skills. If you ever need a good manual, I highly recommend that one.
